Senior Leadership Consultancy Course ref: SLC 09
Costs are £200 per half-day 9.30-12.00 or 1-3.30pm. Design your own consultancy schedule.
Typical consultancy areas include:
using Raiseonline data effectively, collection of data to support completion of SEF, considering key performance indicators,
using school data to gain an overview of pupil progress, using electronic collection and analysis of key stakeholder feedback,
creating an effective school improvement plan, using the BECTA ICT School Audit tool, personal IT skill development and use,
creating online surveys and assessment tools .....
1 Day Staff Group Courses
Costs are £400 per day for staff groups up to a maximum of 15.
Training day times are 9.30 - 2.45 pm.
Costs include participant course booklet, registration on Alison learning platform and a school CD loaded with useful school templates.

Interactive Whiteboards for Primary Classrooms. (Smartboards) Course ref: IW 09
Learn how to create effective teaching screens using the Smart Notebook software. Course includes a wide range of teaching screen templates
that can be easily adapted for use in your school.
ICT Basic Skills Development. Course ref: ICTBSD 09
Learn how to save files and find them again; use the internet efficiently for research and creating lesson content;
create certificates and posters in Word. Use free resources effectively in the classroom eg. Google Docs

School Administrators Development Programme Course ref: SADP 09
This is a 3 day course for school administrators. The programme enables school administrators to explore management areas
and issues that may presently be outside their current role.
The programme includes:
an overview of Finance, HR, H&S and ICT managment functions
consideration of strategic whole school issues such as marketing, teamwork, extended schools etc.
consideration and creation of your own professional development framework
The main aim of the programme is to develop leadership and management capacity in order to contribute to school improvment.
This course has now been running for several years and has been successfully completed by 200+ school administrators.

iTQ. Course ref: iTQ 09
This is now the standard national qualification for IT Users (NVQ level 2 and 3).
An ideal vehicle for developing school staff IT skills. Choose your own IT study areas and tasks to complete.
Course duration approximately 6months. Delivery is via 5 school based half day sessions and distance learning modules.
Typical cost for a Level 2 qualification is £500 per candidate for school staff groups (3 minimum)
possible fee waiver for school staff without a Level 2 qualification, or equivalent.
